Accessibility help...
Refined Designs Co. strives to make their websites accessible to everyone. Below are the strategies we use in order to make this possible.
Access keys
In order to access all of the pages on this website for those who do not have access to a computer mouse/pointer accessory, access keys are the alternative.
In order to use access keys, for windows users, you need to press [Alt] + accesskey. However, if you are using Firefox, then you have to press [Alt] + [Shift] + accesskey. If you are a Mac user, then for all browsers, the key combination is [Control] + [Alt] + accesskey.

Alt tags
For browsers that cannot display images, alt tags are used in order to inform the reader on what the image contains.
They are also used in website links as well, also known as anchor links. The alt tags will appear when the user hovers over the link, and it will allow them to see where the link takes them before actually clicking it.
Selecting
Some text colours may not be so visible on some users computer monitors. Therefore, when you select a word or an image on this website, it changes the background and the text colour to a strong contrast of black and red, like so...
JavaScript and CSS
For dated internet browsers, this website is still accessible and readable for those that do not have JavaScript or CSS enabled. However the Internet Explorer Hunter game will not be available for those who do not have JavaScript enabled.
Also, The HTML5 Shiv enables use of HTML5 sectioning elements in legacy Internet Explorer and provides basic HTML5 styling for Internet Explorer 6-9, Safari 4.x (and iPhone 3.x), and Firefox 3.x. So basically, the website looks half decent in awful IE6.
Apple Devices Icon
For ease of use, iPhone/iPad/iPod Touch users can have an icon on their device that automatically links to the website so that the user doesn't have to go their browser and type in the address every time.
This can be achieved by going to the website and press 'Add to' and then 'Add to Home Screen'.
