Canadian Maple Syrup

Yesterday, we left picture perfect Yellowstone.

In the runnings for picture of the holiday

During the 10 hour journey, yes 10 hours... the weather was quite dull. I was increasingly agitated during this journey due to all the previous long hauls we've done because after all, we have driven all the way across America!

Here is an example of the scenery...

10 hours later, we arrived in Canada.

After all the travelling, we managed to drag ourselves to a bar and had fish and chips then back to the hotel, leaving the sightseeing for another day.

The next day

The next day we were all refreshed and ready to explore Vancouver.

Family being anti-social

We first headed over to Stanley Park via Davie Street, where there are various attractions:

Davie Street has Canada's first permanent rainbow-coloured crosswalk, I approve!

Keep up Dad!

Totem Poles

As we drove through Stanely Park, we came across a perfect picture opportunity for a handstand, as you do...

Zen

We stopped off at a quiet beach, just so we could put our feet in the Pacific ocean, as we did in the Atlantic ocean 3 and a half weeks ago! I for one didn't put my feet in the sea, but put my hands in, because having sand on your feet is worst thing ever!

Picture of us dipping our feet, with our feet cut out, hmm...

Whilst we were there, we attempted leaving our trademark:

This time we were more successful

P.S. For Grand dad, here is our sweet ride!

15 miles per gallon and huge

Congratulations on your coast to coast journey! If you get a chance while in Vancouver take a water taxi to Granville Island - visit the food market for great snacks and visit the arty shops.
